Dials Coffee Company created the Dials Journal and Explore Wabash History to share carefully researched stories about Wabash, Wabash County, Indiana, coffee, and community. This page explains what visitors may share and what requires permission.
What Dials protects
Unless a credit states otherwise, © 2026 Dials Coffee Company. Rights are reserved in Dials’ original editorial text, human-authored contributions, selection and arrangement of material, original branding, original graphics, and distinctive site presentation.
Historical facts, names, dates, ideas, and materials identified as public domain are not claimed by Dials. Third-party material remains subject to the rights and terms stated in its credit.
Sharing and quotations
You are welcome to link to any Dials Journal article or history-map entry. You may quote a short excerpt of up to 50 words for commentary, education, or social sharing when you clearly credit Dials Coffee Company and link to the original page.
Reproducing a complete article, substantial passages, original illustrations, maps, graphics, photographs, page designs, or curated collections requires prior written permission. Republishing, syndication, resale, merchandise use, commercial licensing, or removing a credit or rights notice is not permitted without written authorization.
Automated collection and datasets
No permission is granted to scrape, harvest, compile, ingest, train on, license, or resell Dials’ original editorial content, artwork, map presentation, or curated collection as a dataset or automated-content product, except where applicable law expressly permits the activity.
Historical images and source credits
Each story’s source and image notes control. Public-domain or third-party materials retain their stated status even when included in a Dials article. Dials’ editing, captions, graphic treatment, and curated arrangement may contain separate original expression.
Community contributions
Submitting a story, photograph, document, or memory does not transfer ownership to Dials. Dials will obtain written permission describing the intended use before publishing contributed material. Contributors must have authority to grant that permission and should disclose known photographers, creators, restrictions, and prior publication.

For permissions, licensing, corrections, rights questions, or a good-faith takedown request, please use our contact page. Include the page URL, the material involved, your relationship to it, and the requested action.
